Sounds like the guy should have not fired in the park .......
At least not unless the wolves are well inside of shotgun range anyhow.
Should have had a rifle.
Let this be a lesson people!

The only lessen here is: Obey the YNP rules and don't let your dogs run around without being on a leash.

As much as I like to hear about the (legal) demise of wolves, guys do need to play by the rules otherwise it give the antis some real fodder to sway those on the fence.

I too have an issue with dogs being off-leash and out of control (like the dog owner obviously was).
