Well after 8 years I finally drew a 417 rifle bull permit. I only been the unit a couple times but never looking for elk. I go the area around Roy a couple times a year. But spend most of my time in unit 410.
I am starting my research and wondering if anyone can share some starting points? I live 850 miles away so I need to try and narrow down to places to start researching. My buddy that ranches in 410 is going to see if I can get access to some of his friends ranches in 417. That would be a big help. But still going to look at public or BLM land.
