moose south of Troy ?

Hey guys,

Have any of you seen any shiras bulls south of Troy ? ( moose unit 104 ). My 17 year old nephew has a tag in there. They haven't been able to turn up a good bull since the season started. He'd sure appreciate any info from you guys if you've seen a bull. Sounds like thick country in there.

Numbers are way down up there,spent a week up there around Keeler mtn and the border without seeing a single moose.

hate to tell you this but the Moose up there are slim. The wolves have had their way with them since they do not understand the wolves yet. until recently the only thing a moose would run from is hunters, all the moose have been getting slaughtered one by one. I know everyone complains about the wolves but in this case they have ruined our moose hunting. it has been like that for years now. I know people who have drawn that tag and lived and hunted there their whole lives and didn't even see a bull let alone kill one. All i can say is hunt hunt hunt, put the miles on and hopefully they can find one. It is tough and the numbers are way down. Find the horn Goose!

For the las 3 years all the moose I have seen were in the back of a truck(1) or layin dead in the woods(5).
