Deer hunting around Glendive

Looks like I will have an opportunity to hunt around Glendive in 2012. Landowner has 26 section of mostly hay and grain fields with access to 3 miles of river bottom.
It's a trade for a discount on some building product i am selling him.
I am just starting the research on the area to see if it's worth it.
Any opinions on the area in general??

Area took a BIG hit in deer numbers this last year but if you have access to that much private and its not getting pounded your going to kill a good buck,prob WT or MD.If you can get in there the last week your odds of killing a monster are pretty good.

I hunted south of glendive about 4 years ago on some private land killed 192md. The deer in that area are in pockets, we would see 10-15deer per day. Good luck
