BTW this is the same idiot who ILLEGALLY tagged a buck hit on the highway this hunting season and then got off with a warning where anyone else would have been ticketed...these are the kind of idiots we have running the show,they dont even know the regs...not only that he didnt call the f&g or the highway patrol to report the accident,that was never even mentioned.

I'll admit, they deserve as much grief as anybody will give them. They do a poor job at our expense. They lost me with the Justin Gibson fiasco among others and we need to clean house.

He sounds like a decent guy. Hardly an incident that warrants a ticket.

Hes the guy setting our quotas and deciding where and when we get to hunt,and he doesnt have a Fn clue,thinks there are "grey areas" in the regs where they are completely clear,probably hasnt bothered to read them.The whole ting is BS,for whatever reason they have decided that cats are hitting the elk harder than the wolves in this one area,probably because its an area where the wolf quota has been a big deal.BUT there is a certain group in that area that wants the cat quota to stay low so the cat numbers will stay high so he backed out of the plan to raise the quota to keep them happy,forget the elk keep the hounds-men happy.Hes a political puppet who will cave to the slightest pressure from anyone with a legislator in their pocket,he proved that today.They call the drop in mule deer numbers"mysterious",with all their study's they havnt figured out that high cat numbers and sh!tloads of doe tags have taken their toll?The antelope in E MT were hit hard last year so they get rid of all the doe tags on this side of the state where numbers are good?This state is headed for bad days as far as our wildlife are concerned until the Gov replaces this commission.BTW there was a mother of 3 just north of here that picked up a wt someone else had run over on the highway and took it home,neighbors called it in and she got a big fat ticket,not a warning. But yhe other than that hes a nice guy.

Why is it the stoopidest people are often the most vocal???

FWP will give more lion tags next year and open it to general quota.

what fwp did right now was not issue more tags in the middle of an ongoing season that has people already hunting using the limited entry unit tags they had drawn, for the most part using the bonus points they had spent years accumulating.

Hopefully the mother of 3 pled "not guilty" and references the FWP Administrator doing the same thing. Stuff like this needs to get in the paper.

She plead guilty and was given a minimum fine,that was about 5 years ago.I agree its a BS ticket but they shouldnt pick and choose who they give it to.They arnt going to raise the quota,were you at the meeting?They cowtowed to the houndsman and the UM,they wont raise the quota for cats until their students finish their $600,000 study on calf mortality.So while the numbers continue to plumet we do nothing so some college students can finish spending over half a million dollars to figure out what we already know,the wolves and cats combined are too much for the
herd.
