I NEVER call, but I am trying to get my hunt plans finalized. The F&G guy I talked to said Wednesday sometime. I am actually more interested to see if they cut the 700's from 6500 to 3000.

Any cuts in 700 district will be good. Around Miles City where Im near the numbers are down compared to a few years ago. Still afew pockets of them here and there but nothing like it was.

I just went onto the MOntana ALS search to see if the antelope results are out. Saw this note.

Please Note: The antelope drawings have been delayed awaiting population survey results. Antelope and antelope B license drawings will take place Friday, July 20 and will be posted here at that time.

I agree they need to cut....but like SD what takes them so long??? They should have started cutting before the 2009 season IMO.

Congrats on the tag. In my family (3 residents), only 1 drew antelope in 700.

They were talking of slashing from 6500 tags to 3000 tags prior to the draw!

I know 3 people that have drawn this tag their first attempt. 0-8 overall this year. Sonnnofaaaaaa!!! Might have to get an archery tag just so I can shoot one again.

Thanks mnmthunting. Really looking forward to it this year. Hof, sorry to hear about your bad luck. I'll be just North of 404. Been hunting there since I was a kid. Still have lots of family in the area, including the farm North of Shelby. mtmuley
