Unit 330 Antelope

I ain't spent much time in the Montana forum, never been able to draw any tags up there, My wife however 1st year drew District 330 Antelope, I knew there was a fair amount of private ground in this area, and a good chunk of BLM, does anyone know if there is BMA's in this area? I plan on taking my 2.5 year old with us and have a family type hunt. Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

There's lots of BM/public, and the antelope numbers seem to be doing pretty good down there. Should be a fun hunt.

Madmoose I'll keep ya posted as the hunt rolls around, Thanks for the info Randy I hope we have fun, I've looked over the BLM overlay for google earth and it looks like we should have no problem finding some place to hunt. Thanks Guys!!

It's a Tough hunt after opening morning! Take your best spotting scope as after the shooting starts they hide out in the hills. Some of which are "Safe zones" set aside so they have a place to go. In 2010 I spent 7 day's hunting for a good buck and was watching the same 120 head spread out from Monida to the Clark Canyon res every day. They issue 500-700 tags every year with less than 250 head "in my opinion" on this unit.

They can definitely get pushed up in to some holes. A couple years ago we killed a buck down there in an adjacent unit at 8400 feet in some rock bluffs.
