LAST EDITED ON Nov-22-12 AT 10:52PM (MST)[p]This old boy finally slipped up and came down out of the dark timber with 12 min of legal light left this evening.He was real good at leaving the does at the first hint of dawn so I camped on is does ALL day and got lucky.Should have taken a video camera,watched a decent 4x4 buck come over to sniff the does and then he decided to try to run off a tiny 2x2 that has been with the does for weeks,when he approached the 2x with his rack lowered the 2x reared up and double tapped that 4x buck right in the face with a vicious judo kick.One of the funniest things I have seen while hunting,the 4x just shook hs head and headed off down the mountain.
