If you draw a elk tag for montana are you still guaranteed a archery elk tag in the breaks like you used to?

Those days are long gone and wont be back again any time soon,they have tried to get the guaranteed archery tags back several times and get shot down each time.

Still seems like the Breaks are VERY crowded with hunters during the archery season.

Thats because they all hunt the same water holes year after year.

Yes, and often 3-4 hunters work the same water.

Its usually easy to find the "good spots",trails with more human tracks than elk tracks,garbage,old tree stands,ground blinds,decoys,cigarette butts,cameras,stained toilet paper and bugles that sound like an elk just found out its son was gay.
