Idaho or Montana bear

I usually hunt bear in Island Park just across the border from Montana in Idaho. I have been thinking about switching and hunting the Montana side. I would try hunting the areas near Hebgen Lake or Hidden Lake near Red Rock Bird Refuge. Any opinions or advice would be appreciated for those areas, thanks.

Im not a bear hunter, but I hunt Elk some years in the Centennial mountains on the Montana side, which is adjacent to Island Park. Naturally, since im hunting elk, I look for them where there is fewer wolves/bears. Wolves are all over the Centennials, but ive never seen a bear on the western reaches of the Centennials, I don't think that part of the range supports much of what they normally eat. The further East you go, the better.
