It's been a few years since I've put in for Montana. Brothers wanted to go this year and I don't get to hunt with them that much anymore....I couldn't recall if results came out in Mid May or later? Anyone??

LAST EDITED ON Apr-07-14 AT 12:06PM (MST)[p]I already got my NR elk and deer tags in hand, they came in the mail last week.

What a strange post.
This is just more of the ridiculous nonsense.
The drawings are not until 15th of April for the Non Resident Combination Licenses.

Call MFW&P. or check the Website.

No its not...how much you guys want to lose in a bet that I already have my NR Montana elk and deer tags in hand?

He is probably a kid (12-18) and can buy them over the counter. He does not have any special permits I bet.

MT native deer A and elk...for a whopping $144, in hand.

A kid no, but yes the native tags are OTC.

But, the hunting in MT sucked so bad last year, I'm not sure why I'm going back?

Took me about 4 hours of hunting on day 1, 2 of which was hiking in the dark to find this bull:

A few days later, stumbled into a deer:

Not bad for $144 I suppose.

Spent more on a NR cow elk B-tag than my bull and buck tag:

Dad and Brother did OK too, even though the wolves ate all the elk:

Since he left Missoula

As far as Buzz goes, I was thinking "entertaining phoney"

Jdan, Your description more accurately describes it.
Lets go with that. :)
