unit 700 Non resident opportunities?

One of those "friend of a relative" contacts. has access to 20k plus acres in the unit, don't know exactly where. He's telling us to apply for antelope tags. Having a tough time interpreting the MT regs concerning odds, total costs, etc.

Hoping for some clarification from the experts, also wondering about deer in the area.

Deer should be 100% and it's $592. Antelope application is in early June I think but will be a tougher draw. If you can get on some decent property I would jump at it. Always better when you're not fighting the masses. I would make some inquiries about the deer hunting before you pop for the tag first. It may just be Antelope country with so-so to bad deer hunting, but if they say the deer is decent jump on it. My 2 cents.
