So I am researching for a day public land hunt this fall! We are trying to avoid the breaks, lots of info on the breaks and looks like country we would like but we do not want tons of other hunters!
We have deer general tags and he has the elk as well! Elk is an after thought and only a just in case we see one tag!
We are fine hunting whitetail but prefer mule deer.
Can anyone help point us to a unit? Late November deer? We like pinyon juniper and sage over dark timber etc. We began looking at the 100 area up north and it seems to have potential but we also would like to find something further south maybe down by Beacer head?
