Hello everyone-

How bad is the weather in Jan/Feb around the missouri breaks? Unit 410 has a winter cow elk hunt, and this may be the only way to salvage the season and put some elk meat in the freezer. I'd be coming out from Maryland. Fly into Great Falls and make the drive up. I hear the F&G folks have pretty good access with their hunt coordinators?

I hear the mud is bad during the bow season. I'll call the Region 6 office and see if I can pick the biologist/hunt coordinators ear for some access.
