Am I reading the info accurately when I read that a deer tag/license is $592 for a non-resident?

Is a general season deer tag good for roughly 37 days? In 2015 it said the season ended Nov 29th?? Is that statewide? Any tag? Just need some clarification. Thanks.

Steve

Cancer doesn't discriminate...don't take your good health for granted because it can be gone in a heartbeat. Please go back and read the last line. This time really understand what it says.

Steve, I was a non res last year hunting up there from Utah. The tag fee is $592. You will have to put in for the draw to draw the tag.The deadline is March 15. You will have to have the money upfront for the drawing. The tag is statewide. You should have no problem drawing the tag. The last day of deer season this year was Nov. 29th. You will also get a fishing and small game license with your deer tag. So my fishing and small game does not expire until March of this year 2016. Hope this makes sense if not ask me some more questions.

Montana statewide general deer and elk seasons end the Sunday after Thanksgiving every year. Season is 5-weeks long.

My hunting spot is so secret, not even the elk have found it yet.
