Great Falls Pheasants

i know this is a little off topic, but thought I would give it a try. I'm looking for some quality ground around Great Falls to do some pheasant hunting, maybe between there and Conrad/freeze out. I have hunted around that area a few times and have met a couple gracious farmers, but have always felt awkward just walking up to someone's door asking for permission. I would be happy to pay a reasonable trespass fee as I can see the value of the farmers providing a game rich environment. Most likely just be me, the old man and a youngster. Any point in the right direction or a contact would be great. Thanks

you would be better off in that area to find a guided pheasant hunt IMO.

Yea, unfortunately you're probably right, guided hunts big or small game aren't really my thing. Thanks for the response, hopefully i can get lucky and find a landowner to work with. I might just be stuck hunting the public which I'm sure you know can be a grind.
