Is that section of BLM West of Thoeny worth a scout for next year deer seasons?

I realize this is a very old post! But I've been staring at that area on my maps for weeks now and was just wondering if you ever got out there? I'm planning to hunt close to that in 2019.

Never made it, spoke with the game warden for the area. He said you gotta get far from roads walk a lot and get high and stay in the glass.

I wouldn't waste my time. Not much for good bucks. Lot's of people. I have always found less people and larger bucks in the SE corner over the NE corner. Plus the NE corner is some of the ugliest country you will ever lay your eye's on.
