Unit 590 elk

I am aware of the private land deal in unit 590 for elk. My question is it possible to fill a tag diy if a guy was willing to jump piece to piece on the scattered public chunks? If a guy was committed to hitting them and being mobile. I like a challenge and would kinda be fulfilling if a guy could fill a tag in an area dominated by all the private issues. This would be archery and rifle if i draw. And I have the ability to come and go as needed during rifle season. Just curious. Pm if don't want to share to the whole world.

In montana jumping public land corner to corner is not legal, unless they changed the law in the last 2 years.

Yes not talking corner jumping but noticed there are some public that are touched by public roads. That's what I was referring to. Hunting those pockets

I've hunted 590 many times for deer and was lucky enough to draw rifle bull tag in 2016. That being said the ranchers in that area have a way of grazing there cattle on public land right before seasons. A lot of public land is also land locked. A lot of work and little luck it could still be done
