A good buddy of mine recently had twins. Although he has a great hunting dog, it may not be the best family dog. He is looking for a good home for his hunting buddy. Surely there is a good fit somewhere with hunting season right around the corner.

Good luck to you in your search for the right owner...this could turn out to be a good resolution for your dog and kids...good luck hth...maybe check out pheasants forever website...

Bump...
Had some interest but it fell through. To answer some questions others had, the dog is free to a good home and is located in Boise. He is also good with other dogs and respects other dogs point.

If you or anyone you know is looking for a great hunting dog and don't have children this is a good fit.

Wow .. Bentley has not found a home yet, that surprises me.
I have always had shorthairs myself. Got 2nd pic of a litter coming in may for a new wirehair pup.

I will be in tex creek next week, but I am a brand new grandpa, and expecting more young one's in the near future.
I cant have a dog with some slight behavior problem with kids at this time.
Or I would give him a home for sure, visla and a wire hair pup tag teaming grouse in northern wisconsin or pheasants down around home would be a lot of fun
