My wife drew this tag and I wanted to get on here and see if any members had any advice or information on this hunt... The hunt basically starts at the middle fork and goes north to the top end boundary above Council.
I have spent a lot of time up that way spring bear hunting but never this late in the year for elk...I am hoping for really cold weather but not too much snow to snow us out.
I would have access to a snowmobile if needed, but not sure how I feel about hunting off the snow machine.
