Here is a buck I got with my muzzleloader in 47 last fall. Lots of animals spotted and a few missed shots.

I had never seen an elk in 40 before, despite endless days and a lot of seasons spent there. I finally saw some last fall though.

My brother and I drew buck tags in unit 40. We didn't have the luck finding the bucks during the late season that we did in the summer. My brother took his first buck ever and I managed a buck with my muzzleloader.

All in all it was a great year. My son got his first big game animal as well. I was worried about antelope in unit 40 because of the fire but we did ok.

I think if I could have done it different I would have put in for the early archery tag for deer. They seemed to be under every rock during the summer but we had a heck of a time during the late hunt.

IdahoHunter, those are some stomper bucks! I think seeing so many big bucks on this website has made a lot of guys here take for granted seeing those type of deer posted. But I am sure it raised your blood pressure seeing them in person. Anyway, thank you for sharing.

Great pictures. I have around 100 pictures and lots of footage of the big typical and the non typical. there is just a few differences. 1: the big typical photo was taken in 2012. the 2015 photos are much more impressive, alive and dead. 2: the non typical photo was taken in early August just before I hunted him for 25 days. No luck. 3: you need a new map. Lastly, YOU didn't take the photos.....

You must have been standing right behind the guys that actually took these pictures, (You're sneaky cause we didn't even see you)...I have the originals and about 200 more of the bottom buck if you'd like to see them.....lol

Hey, I have some of the 2015 (alive) photos too...cause I hunted him 2 days before he got killed.....Great buck. Too bad folks gotta claim pictures (that match EXACTLY) to the ones we took from 2012- 2015....sad

Ok. I didn't take two of the pictures. I got those pictures from a girl I was seeing. She got them from her brother. I was under the impression that he took them. Maybe she lied to me. I don't know.

I shouldn't have shared the two pictures that weren't mine. The picture with the two big velvet bucks was mine and I was happy to share it. The rest of the pics are mine. I may have fudged the locations some, but I'm far from the first person to do that.
