It's still an awesome hunt. I would hunt every single day. There's resident deer and then the deer that migrate in. Weather (cold and/or snow) is what will bring out more deer so if you can't hunt the entire time then the last part might be best.

My opinion the unit has fallen off somewhat. Don't expect a 180 class deer around every turn.

LAST EDITED ON Jul-05-16 AT 11:10AM (MST)[p]Absolutely not 180 deer around every corner. I had the tag last year and went in blind. I would concentrate my efforts on the roadless area mid unit east of Bennett Mtn.rd. the later in the season the deer started to move and it was apparent. This was with no weather. I got lucky and found a slug, till that point id be stretching to say I saw 180.

Hey Mike,that is truly the buck of a life time,we will be scouting hopefully next week. My friends boys have drawn that unit for bulls twice in the last 3 years,and showed me some pictures of some big deer,nothing quite that big, but one looked to be in the 190 range. Thanks for sharing...
