Cow elk 30A

Wondered if anyone happened to have any info or has hunted this controlled hunt for cow elk before. I was lucky and drew the sept. 15 - October 14th later hunt on the second drawing. This hunt is only part of the unit. Are the elk numbers good in the unit? What part of the unit is better north or south) ? A lot of private land. I don't want anyone's hunting areas just some general info. I'm going to go scout it soon.
