I have been hunting Diamond creek for about 10 years, but was unable to get a tag the last two years. My group all said they wanted to try this area, more for opportunity than anything else. Long story short, none of them bought a tag except me. I have been studying maps, there are a lot of roads. I have no clue where to even begin. I was thinking of taking my young boys with me labor day weekend to try and learn the area. I know it's last minute, but any help would be much appreciated.

had the same thing happen to me this year so I will be up there solo. I will be hunting this weekend and later in september around the 16-20th. I hear there are elk up in copenhagen basin from the sheepherders. I am happy to help out where i can, just pm me.

We've been putting in for diamond creek ever since my boys passed hunters safety. Haven't drawn yet.
So did you see anything? Did you get anything? It was a tough hunt and has been the last few years, but my boy was able to get one. Just a small 5
