Anyone have any info on the 99acre fire on Tincup Mountain. What surrounding areas is it affecting? Was planning on hunting Bulls somewhere around Tincup for the next two weeks till I seen the Forestry Service posted a fire bulletin on September 8th. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I dont think they are trying to contain it. The displaced hunters will make it interesting for those that need to learn a new area from scratch now. Ugh.

Yeah I read a few articles where they stated they are letting it naturally burn to enhance the ecosystem. I read that it's burning Southeast toward Highway34. From the information I was able to gather I believe it's only grown by 7 acres since Thursday. Not sure if any truth to that? Anyone able to verify that or anything?

A member of my family seen about a 40" Bull Moose this morning at about 30 yards.
