General deer opener - who's hunting?

I'm a nonresident on my way to hunt one of my favorites states! Packing back in a few miles at least and a couple days early and planning to hunt hard.

Who else is headed out for the opener?

Heading up to scout saturday and sunday, then hunt monday.

Not picky, just looking for a 170 or better buck pretty close to the road in a general unit soooo if anyone has any intel let me know thanks.

The fiance and I will be up there Sunday evening to Tuesday night. Archery season was not good to me...... :-/ mainly look for meat on my tag and would like to get the fiance atleast a 3-4 point as her biggest buck to date. Hopin it won't be to busy but got my honey holes lined out with a couple nice shooters.... good luck everyone

I'm waiting and heading out next Friday, probably hunt deer Friday afternoon/evening and then mainly focused on elk over the weekend. I'll get serious about deer toward the last week of season and in late archery
