Congrats on the lion! But Woooow, that's a lot of snow. How's the wildlife fairing in those parts? Is there vegetation under that show or is that snow piled up on dirt or rock piles?

This was near sun valley. Lots of snow. Can't see ground vegetation at all. Would guess about 48" of snow on Valley floor. Not good for game at all.

Oh come on!!! you cant just say pistol, saw it shot it.
We need a story, What kinda of pistol???? how far was the shot?,what load? how long was the stalk???

The only exciting part is that I got about 5' from it on the ground before the shot. It was a nuisance cat, preying on barn cats and living under a tree in the guys front yard. Had to get walk under the tree and peak onto a little den it created. When I did, it jumped out. 40 cal. pistol did the trick.
