McCall zone unit 25 question

Hey guys I posted this on another site & thought I would try here as well. I am planning a solo rifle elk hunt in unit 25. I have never hunted Idaho & was wondering what to expect weather wise that time of year. Since I am going solo I don't want to have any problems getting stuck somewhere from snow or heavy rain & mud. I have good gear & a 4x4 truck & want to get back in to some more secluded areas. I have been scouring google earth & been looking at areas off Johnson creek road south of Yellow Pine. Also been looking at areas
by Buckhorn creek off the 674 & 474. I am doing as much research on the area as possible, but since I have never hunted there not sure what to expect. Any advice would be appreciated. I can give info on
certain units in Arizona.

You can have any kind of weather you can imagine in late October in central Idaho. It could be 80* or there could be two feet of snow. It depends on how the fall weather patterns shape up.

You'll want a wolf tag in that area.
