44 bull

I have been in 44 before on a couple really short hunts. We did not see any large bulls. What do you guys think is a "big" bull in 44? Reason I ask is because I drew the tag and have a reasonable amount of time to hunt and can pass small bulls for a bit. I am totally a meat hunter so it Will be difficult to pass fat raghorns. Thanks a lot!

What's your biggest bull? I would say use that as your gauge, unless it's over 320-330.

I wouldn't be afraid to lower as hunt goes on.

My biggest is a 325 Roosevelt. I have been on 2 of these hunts with other people and they shot the first bull that came into range. Just curious what some nice mature bulls in the unit would score and if there is some trophy potential?

If I had that tag in my hand, I would be looking for a bull in the 330-340 class. There are a few 350 bulls running around, but realistically, that's what I would shoot for.

Thanks! That's what I was hoping for. Going to get after it for a week and see what happens. Anyone have any pictures of any 44 bulls?
