looking for any information on what to expect
or just stories on your past hunts in this unit
I will be hunting the last week of October
and really excited about some of the good news I am hearing about the deer herd and quality

I drew that tag last year ended up eating my tag I hunted hard but never ran into the buck I was after good luck there are a lot of deer over there but the big ones are few and far between

Go take a look around the unit, you will find the deer. Like the other poster said there are a lot of deer, but not 180" behind every bush. Deer live from the bottom all the way to the top (over 10,000') but they will be down in the trees by the last part of October.
