idaho unit 60A moose hunt

I was lucky enough to draw an Idaho unit 60A bull moose tag. In doing my preparations, I have been trying to call some private land owners but have been coming up short. Does anyone have any information or contacts on this area?

It turns out there are no moose guides in this area and that most of the most reside along the river between Rexburg and Saint Anthony

Lots of moose by the river but also some out on the desert especially in November.

Good luck on this hunt. I wish I had more info. But maybe stick to the river and check some of those islands. I have unit 60 this year hopefully we can have good luck. Keep us posted.

You have a good tag if you can put in the time. I drew the tag in 2013. It was a good time but I put a bunch of time in. I couldn't hunt the first 3 weeks (had a run in with a grizzly and I lost) and the bull I was hoping to hunt got shot during that time frame. I think I passed up 13 bulls before I shot mine. My bull made all time B&C, never entered him but did have him officially scored. Shoot me a message and we can talk.
