I had an archery elk tag about 10 years ago. I was wondering if as a non resident I need to take Archery education online to get tag this year?

I think you can do an affidavit that you have grandfather rights to archery hunt. Don't take this as the gospel just call F&G.

In the past they definitely had the affidavit you just had to show proof of archery hunting another state. I can't tell you whether they've changed that or not as it's been quite a few years since I did it. If I remember correctly you had to submit the form though so it wasn't just swing by and fill out the paper and buy your tags it took a little time for the process.

They have an affidavit online that you have to send in advance. You have to have hunted archery only in another state or completed archery education for another state and sign that you have done so. You will need to know the year you hunted and the state is all.
