My husband and I were lucky enough to draw 2 mile deer tags in unit 54. We were hoping to hunt in the southern area of the unit. Any info you can send us would be appreciated. We are planning on hunting opening day oct 5th and staying for 10 days.. Any ideas on places to stay, cabins to rent or hotels would be great

I drew an archery mule deer tag here in 54. Can?t wait to get out there!! What's the weather usually like over there in September? Are the mulies still staying up high at that point?
