Anyone chase roosters this past weekend?
How were the number of birds you saw? Of coarse i'm talking wild birds, not the WMA penned raised junk show.
I saw enough to get my birds both days but wasn't impressed with the overall numbers. Only saw slightly more hens than roosters.
Also got a few Sharpies. I've been out a few times after them, every year their numbers seem to be plummeting. Doesn't help that every year more CRP is converted to crops. Been mostly bumping up singles not the big coveys of years past. It sucks, i love those birds. Been seeing a good number of Huns tho.
