Lost spotting scope

I found a nice spotting scope by Prairie Idaho near the end of the gen-deer season. I would like to get it back to the real owner. If you lost one and can describe it accurately, I will return it.

I applaud you for trying to find the owner. My dad and I found a brand new bow on the side of a dirt road while archery hunting elk one year. I thought we just had good fortune but my dad insisted we try and find the owner. He posted a similar message "describe the bow" at the only store in a small ghost town. I thought there was no way anyone would see that but sure enough the owner did, called my dad with an accurate description and got his bow back.

Was it a leupold gold ring small spotter? The older version. Should have been in the cover as well.

You're a good man BackcountryRick and not everyone is.

I left a 20 gauge O/U leaning against a fence in a parking lot down towards Malad a few years back. Raced back down when I realized I'd forgotten it, but it was too late. Someone had picked it up. Never got it back despite calling everywhere, leaving posts all over the place, etc.
I wish someone like yourself had found it.

Thanks guys, I myself have done similar things and never gotten them back so I know the disappointment. Good luck to you guys on your draws and hunts this year !
