Idaho Bear Hunt

I am looking to hunt black bear next spring. I'm just starting my research on where to go. I have read several different forums online and I have heard some people say that Unit 39 is great. I have looked at the harvest reports online and it looks like a lot of bears are taken out of that unit.

This hunt would be a spot and stalk just because I live in Utah and I won't be able to drive up there often as I would like. Do you have any recommendations on where to go in that unit? I heard North of Atlanta is good? I don't know if anyone else has hunted in that area before, but I just wanted to get another opinion. Thanks for your time.

I don't think there's a magic area. There's plenty of bears. Drive past the dam and get glassing.
