So much for June 10th, as was advertised. I have a few irons in the fire, and I was thinking they would meet the date they said they would.

I don't think it's too much to ask that they simply meet the date they advertise. They should be giving themselves a cushion, so they don't end up being late.

SO... The website says June 10th but when I applied online, the email I got said that the winners would be notified by June 15th so it would appear that they did give themselves a cushion of sorts.
 
They call. My friend and i have both drawn in the past, and both phone calls took place on fridays. One in 2012, one in 2015. Coincidence on fridays, maybe??
 
It was awesome back when they would draw them manually and you could be there. My kid drew 3. Wish he did it now instead of when we first moved here and knew nothing, but it was sure fun.

1/ea of Deer, Elk, Antelope.

He was 12/13. Drew Deer/Antelope at 12. Elk at 13.

I attributed his draws to my secret crinkling of the paper slips you filled out and manually placed into the hopper they drew from. I always went in last minute of last day so they would be on the outside of the drum. Haha. All BS, he just got lucky.

Didn't kill any trophies, but they were his first kills. Passed up half a dozen 6x6 bulls to 300", but ended up eating his bull tag. So sad, we simply didn't know what we were doing but had a blast together trying.

Anyway, good luck. For anyone who draws, understand that having no limits on what hunts, having a loooong season, and pressure to kill the biggggest critter is actualy stressful, so just have fun if you have it.
 
When I won in 2013, they never attempted to call. They simply mailed a letter asking me to "contact us in regards to your super hunt application".

Well, I hate to point this out but this is 3 out of 4 notification deadlines IDFG has breezed right past this year, and they nearly missed the OIL results notifications. Just saying
 
Would be nice if they simply noted that in a press release or posted on their website.

How can one feel disappointed for not drawing on a 1000:1 shot, but I do.

Makes since, because i haven't heard of anyone getting a tag yet,and they usually mention it on their website,and lastly no one seems to know what THE HELL IS GOING ON AT THE OFFICE !!!!

Yes they are.

I was fortunate enough to be drawn for a pronghorn tag! I know Idaho is not known for it's speed goats, but I am hoping there are a couple 80 inchers some place!

Good luck!! Keep us posted. I'm sure you'll turn up a decent speed goat.
 
LOL, that's because your odds aren't 1/1000, but more like 1/2500 for deer and elk, 1/500 for antelope,1/8000 for moose and 1/4000 for combo. Kind of makes those 3% chance of drawing on the regular tags look good!
 
My buddy drew his second elk supertag in 4 years. If that's not enough to piss a guy off he drew a unit 54 muzz tag last year and killed a 375 bull. I am actually stoked for him and I hope I can tag along this year.
