I have always wanted to catch a trout over 10lb of each species, and this was my location of choice for my rainbow.
Is the fishery still going strong?

Yes, they are still catching large Rainbows up there. But the fishery has been up and down in the recent years. Worries of low kokanee numbers (primary food for big rainbows) is always a concern. First predation from Lake Trout, and now from a growing population of walleye in the lake have biologists on edge. But looking at K&K derby winners, it looks like they are still pulling 10Lb+ bows regularly. But maybe not what it used to be...

Those bows eat Kokanee? That's awesome! I thought just browns my personal favorite and lakers did that.
Do guys troll big lures that Imamate kokes to catch the kamloops?
Lake trout are trouble for trout, I think they were what ended the big browns in Flaming Gorge?

You bet they eat Kokanee...Guys up there like to troll "flies" that really look a lot like an over grown bucktail. They often fish them a lot like salmon on the coast with flashers/dodgers on down riggers. if it's cold they'll fish up higher and use planer boards.
