is this a general hunt tag? antler mule deer. is access good and not a lot of private.

Yes it is a general area, yes most of the unit is public, but I've done a little looking on the public down there and it is pretty much a barren wasteland

46 is a big unit and a lot of it is public, however it does hold some good bucks if you know where to look. Some of those areas that look so desolate do in fact hold deer. You will find most deer in the agriculture areas bordering the private farm land. The unit is definitely a unit you have to spend time in but if you have the time it's worth checking out.
