LAST EDITED ON Oct-30-18 AT 07:14PM (MST)[p]Hey Fellas

Just wanted to check in and see if anybody had some starting points to fill a couple doe antelope tags in 44 or 45. Preferably good glassing points to look over some area that hold antelope. Haven't spent too much time in these units but have spent quite a bit of time right across the highway in 39 with a bow looking for deer.
Just hoping to save an extra day trip from the valley and some fuel if any of you are willing to share where some does are hanging around. I'm sure we can get into them on our own but never hurts asking if it can save some fuel and a little bit of time!

Heres a couple pics of a buck we got on in the most popular unit in Idaho this last weekend. Unfortunately, my brother and I didn't play our cards right and couldn't get on him after watching him bedded for 30 minutes. We were waiting for him to rebed once the sun started coming up behind him thinking he'd come towards us away from the sun, they never do what you want and he went off the back side towards the sun. Seen 5 bucks and ended up filling the freezer on a 3 point. Pictures aren't great, he was nearly 2 miles away had the spotting scope zoomed in all the way and the cell phone camera zoomed all the way. Couple screenshots from videos I took.

As you probably know, most properties have been cropped and/or disked/plowed. The antelope have all been congregating on the few remaining properties that have pivots and are still green. If somebody gives you information from 3 weeks ago, it is not pertinent anymore. My buddy and his kids had 2 tags and we finally got a shot and his kid missed last week. It has become very hard to find huntable antelope. Sorry for the bad news.

Nice 39 buck!

This doe hunt is a layup. My brother is 3/3 with this tag, all on public land, all killed on 1 day hunts.

OnX is very helpful if you wish to hunt the private borders, but there are some antelope spread out on public. Good luck, you'll get it done.

Just wanted to continue on this tread, recently drew the 44-2. I've heard you need to get out and knock on some doors and that's pretty much the only way you tag out with this hunt. I'm coming from out of state to hunt this tag with 3 or 4 days towards the middle to end of the season. Any way I can do this hunting public land? and can anyone share some insight. Likely won't have time to get out and scout so doing a lot of e-scouting with on-x.

End of season can be tough as some of the antelope start migrating out of the valley. Most of the landowners will let you on, so door knocking will be necessary.

My wife has the tag. We’re planning public land. I’ve seen them spread out everywhere in the different units. I would go mid season and not stress out too much
