my friend and i found a lower jaw to a hog/boar with about 3 inch tusks in it wile bear hunting. is there ferral hogs in eastern washington that grow tusks? if so does anyone have any info on them for hunting and possible location??

haha i have lived in wa for over 22 years and there are no wild hogs it was probly a domestic hog and there is no season even if there was hogs you need to go to tx if you want to hunt pigs...

I beg to differ there are wild hogs in washington just not many of them. I do not know about eastern washington but in the Wynoochee valley of western Washington there are hogs. No limit year around season as set by the Department of Fish and game. Just call them up you can get the same info I have gave you. I forgot when they came about but they have been breeding in the wild for many years now about 40 if I recall the game departments comments correctly.

>maybe but im not a coaste
>i do beleve that it
>says EASTERN WA correct...

Yes you are right it does say that but you said you have lived in washington for 22 years and there are no hogs here....I think that is the point isnt it?

What you found was more than likely a pig that escaped and went wild. Call it a Wil Hog if you wish to call it that. Pigs/Hogs are a species that can go from domestic to wild with in a few years. If they bread than their off spring will be completely wild.

Most if not all Pigs and Hogs have the ability to grow tusks. Lot of pig farmers will file or break them of to prevent them from injuring other pigs in the pen. Once wild their turks will grow.

You are more likely to se a Cougar than you are a Wild Pig in the state of Washington.
