Observatory Muzzle Loader Tag

We'll my hunt starts next monday and I can't wait to get up there and see what I can find. My problem is I have not had a chance to scout. My baby girl got married two weeks ago and have been helping with wedding plans all summer. Just wanted to know if anyone has been up there and seeing any animals this fall. thanks for any help.

All the typical spots that hold water are holding a few Bulls. Some good bulls too. Where do you like to hunt in those units???

I like to hunt any where. I have hunted Clemens mountain and by kenan meadows before. I whould look anywhere I was pointed.

My bull scored 3497/8". I shot it at 266 ranged yards. 2 shots and both connected perfect.

I thought this was a muzzleloader tag? 266 yards?

It is a frontloader tag and yes 266 yards is correct. I drew the same tag the year before and shot a nice 5X5 at 200 yards. These are the only bulls I shot at each year so you don't have to worry that there is a bunch of wounded or dead elk out in the woods that I shot at and didn't recover.

I never took pictures of it. I will try to take some pictures and post them. I had it scored at the Tri Cities show in January and its been laying on my basement floor since then.

350 bull and no photos taken. Man I take pictures of every critter I kill, large or small.
