Huckleberry Unit Spring Bear Tag?

My 10 year old daughter drew a spring bear tag this year for the Huckleberry Unit. Have been in several units up there, but not that one specifically and wondered if anybody might have some suggestions on where or where not to spend some time glassing for spring bears?

Would like to find some gated roads we could hike in a ways to get away from the road hunters and glass clearcuts or natural breaks. Not sure what to expect for receeding snow line that time of year either?

Appreciate any suggestions or insight. Would be willing to return the favor any way I can.

Find the tallest grass and then look for scat. If you can find some gated roads then I would walk them and try to find the best grass.I would wait and go as late as possible due to the late spring. I have not spent much time in that area but I have had lots of spring bear success in other states. Good Luck to you and your daughter.
