I have 12 points for elk this year and want to put in for the blues,I am going muzzleloader, so what is the best unit for
quality and quantity of animals?We are hoping with 12 points
we can draw!Thanks. Jerry

I would say there isn't one that is a whole lot better than the other just depends on what kind of hunt and terrain you can handle. If you don't have pack animals you won't want to kill an elk in the backcountry unless you are in great shape and have help. Talk to the bios they are helpful.Good luck in the draw with those 1% odds!! nwhunter

what NW said, and maybe a look back at the harvest stats for Muzzies back 5 or 6 years would help. Remember some units are mostly private, without a place to hunt, could be a prob.
