Thinking of running over to Burns to cut a load of wood. Anyone on here from Burns? Hows the Snow level? Can i get around good enough to go get some wood?

You can pretty much get anywhere as far as the snow level is concerned. Now mud may be a problem,

BLM is the Only Permit open. Stop at the Office west of town on the hill, Hwy20. They will give you a map of open areas with the Permit. Probably $5 per cord, Might be Free use in Picked over areas.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------support your local guzzlers. Coming from bend. Ours shuts down Nov. 30 but burns is still open. Ran out of time and didnt get what I wanted cut

You Checked with Prineville District BLM. They Probably have something closer---------------------------------------------------------------------------------support your local guzzlers. OHA life member,lapine oregon
