medford area turkeys?

Howdy Oregon boys,

I'm headed up to Medford the middle of April to visit my Dad and little bro and was thinking it would be fun to take them out for some turkey chasing.

They've never hunted gobblers before, so I'm hoping someone here would have some area suggestions on where we could get into some birds???

Any help would be appreciated.

North side of Roxy Ann Mountain just above Medford is full of turkeys. No access from the south side unless you get permission good luck.

If anyone else has suggestions, I'll take them all.

im also going to medford grants pass area to visit family {of course during turkey season} when we moved to idaho in 93 you had to look kind of hard to find birds, now, from what friends have been telling me is its more difficult to find where they are not, ha ha

my father in law , last week had 3 of hem gobbling at him every time he hit the side of his tractor wit his hand.
