Unfortunately I found more sign of feral pigs, there is no doubt now. It is in one of my favorite areas too, hopefully I'll be able to put a few of them down but everything I have read is that it is nearly impossible to get rid of them once they have established a few sounders. I'm going to take a few trips in there to try and find them and kill some off but they are sneaky buggers, I'll keep you all informed.

The problem with em is 3 months,3 weeks,3 days. Good luck bonepicker. They eat good.

Haha! Yeah we raised some pigs when I was a kid and we were having 15-20 surviving piglets per year per sow. Obviously with prime feed and perfect conditions but its easy to see how they can double their population each year. Hopefully the high desert climate will hold them back some and the open country will allow for some extra harvest opportunities on long range shots but I think that eradication is out of the question now. It's just a matter of time before they are everywhere I'm afraid.

There were lots of them up around Ashwood to the Big Muddy until the game commission flew it. they didn't get them all but enough they're not a big problem. if they worked at it again they might wipe them out.

depending on where they are you might talk to the game commision and see if they plan a shoot.

Locals said it was the game commission anyway , I'm not sure. it's not like them to do anything useful, but somebdy did.

Stay thirsty my friends
