LAST EDITED ON Jun-06-15 AT 09:44PM (MST)[p]I was bear hunting in imnaha and found this wolf. It appeared to be a young male that was collared. To the left of him you can see two elk bulls and on the right was a herd of cows. He was not afraid at all and had the eyes of Michael Jackson in the thriller video. Dating myself on that one. I know lots of folks say they hear and see them, well here is proof.

100 years of wildlife management down the drain!!! The one thing Oregon doesn't need is more predators. I guess at this point I feel bad for the Bears and Cougars they were here first :)

Dang. well lets hope he finds his way to the freeway and doesn't make it to the other side.

Stay thirsty my friends

Front shoulder...boom. Cut head off, take off collar, find a semi headed down the road and attach collar on the truck. Or, just throw the thing on a floating log in the nearest river. BTW great photo.

LAST EDITED ON Jun-08-15 AT 04:47PM (MST)[p]A friend that Elk hunts in the same unit as I do (and you do as well) sent me that picture. Opening morning of Elk 1st season 4 years ago I found Wolf prints from the night before in the fresh snow. I counted at least 6 different sets, took pics with my hands and boot in the picture to give it scale; and the biologist tried to tell me they were coyote tracks. LMAO because they were the size of my entire hand and over half the size of my foot. I politely explained to her those were the largest coyote tracks and biggest "pack" of coyotes I'd ever seen after spending 35 years hunting; All to no Avail. 5 months later the first livestock kill happened. If all the "wildlife lovers" in the Portland Metro area (I live in Tualatin) wants them in the state, lets put them in Forest Park and see how fast the sentiment changes.
Did you get a bear?

Here is a video that my son took of the Imnaha pack back in September of 13. We was archery hunting. Didn't see an elk on the trip.
