Hello everyone, I'm new to the site I Iive in central Oregon and have followed the site for about a year. I was lucky enough to draw the Walla Walla any bull tag, looking for information of someone who knows about the unit. Any information would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Small unit with open atv trail in each drainage, a road on top almost encircling the unit and guys bugling off every switchback after the 2nd week pushing the bulls off the top.
Best mode of transportation is a licensed trail bike; ie honda 110 or similar as the main roads are off limits to atv's and are patrolled twice/day forcing you to trailer an atv.

Archery or rifle.

Although not a huge unit squared out, if your flattened it, it'd be a monster.

Giant country, lots of bulls. If your rifle hunting, glass, glass, glass. I personally like the upper end of the southfork, there is also a lot of good country around the northfork. Take lots of time off, scout a bunch, and realize that the weather can screw you in a hurry if you have a limited time to hunt.

IMHO, congrats in drawing the best elk tag in the state.

+1 willametteriveroutlaw!

A friend of mine drew the archery tag a couple years ago. He killed a great 368" bull after weeks of scouting/hunting. He called in several big bulls and got many of them on camera. Have fun!
