I was in Wyoming at the time. The attack you are talking about was in the Tetons. Outfitter and his hunter from Florida killed an elk and when going back to retrieve it were attacked by a grizzly. The outfitter was killed and the client roughed up but made it out. I was in unit 51 archery hunting. The first day I was there 9/9 there was a Minnesota man backpacked off the Beartooth HWY and was attached by a grizzly around granite lake and had to be airlifted to Billings but from what I understand made it.
I was watching my back the whole time I was there.
